Great Things

This page records news and events involving the Trust that are both encouraging and uplifting to all. The stories will be initially about the gifts given to the Trust. However future items will also include information about congregations that have been supported by the Trust.

One of the most enjoyable things about the Trust is that it allows people to give in honour of others. Maybe after reading some of the stories below, you might want to honour someone or an event in their life by providing a gift to the Trust.

Although the Trustees will try and acknowledge all gifts to the Trust, we apologise if anyone is overlooked. Many people also give anonymously and although we cannot thank them by name, every gift is greatly appreciated and will go toward helping evangelism in Australia.

From small beginnings, great things come
December, 2003

This is the slogan that is written on most of our publications. It is a slogan that often describes some of the great wonders in God's creation. It is awesome how a small seed can grow into a huge tree. We see the Trust as doing the same.

The first gift to the Trust in December 2003 was from a 10 year old girl. The gift was $2. The first investment earnings of the Trust was 3 cents recorded on the 31 March, 2004. A Trust deposit envelope was received in a congregation's weekly collection - the gift just 40 cents, from a 9 year old boy!

When the Trust has a working balance of several million dollars, we will praise God in understanding that from small beginnings, great things come!
